I started Tower Wizard with the goal of building the most powerful and advanced magic tower in my wizardry. Just a couple of hours in, I was frustrated by the slow progression and lack of incentives to continue. The 2.99 EUR price seemed like a good bet, but the reality of the game didn't live up to my expectations.

Tower Wizard proposes an incremental challenge that initially promises to be exciting. However, as you progress, the difficulty and lack of rhythm become apparent, leading to a monotonous and unappealing experience.

The Spirit Invocation Mechanic

The spirit invocation mechanic is a unique and attractive feature that adds an interesting level of strategy. After 20 minutes of gameplay, I was already experimenting with different types of spirits to maximize resource production, which kept me engaged.

Verdict

Tower Wizard is a game that promises much but fails to meet its own expectations over time. While the spirit invocation mechanic is interesting, the slow progression and lack of innovation make the experience boring and frustrating. With a score of 6.5, I cannot recommend it to incremental game enthusiasts unless they are willing to face a slow and unstimulating progression.
