Within 20 minutes of playing, I encountered Hecate’s altar, the goddess of magic and the night. In the midst of a dark and twisted labyrinth, I had to choose between three powers: fire, darkness, and illusion. I chose illusion and found myself trapped in a constantly changing maze, prompting me to reflect on how much I enjoy these narrative twists.
